At only 14 yrs old Dana began weight-training in her bedroom and working out to her mother's aerobic videos. Two years later she would purchase her first gym membership at a hole in the wall place where she was the only female.

By the time Dana graduated high school, she still hadn't been discovered as a model. Living in a town of 60,000 didn't prove beneficial for superstardom either. So, she did what any responsible girl her age would have, and with the help of her parents she enrolled in college. That's when things started looking up for the green-eyed beauty. When choosing her 1st semester of fall classes, she carelessly signed-up for "weight-training" as an elective. From there Dana started getting fitness modeling opportunities far away from the small town she was used to.

In fact, after her very first photo shoot, she landed on the cover of a popular American fitness magazine. Soon after, she teamed-up with famed fitness photographer, Michael-Scott. He saw something in Dana that he’d never ever seen in another model. “Dana was just special. She had all the right ingredients to make a powerhouse fitness model, but I also saw in her the potential to be bigger than fitness. She had star quality…she had that “it” factor that people are drawn to. She was also extremely versatile and easy to work with. She was hungry for success, and she didn’t have those typical vices that most beautiful women fall victim to. She had a clean record – no drug habits, drinking problems, or long list of relationships gone wrong. I could see true beauty in her...both inside and out.”

Michael and Dana made the ultimate team, and they dominated the fitness magazines with their awe-inspiring images. Dana was frequently featured in magazine pictorials that exceeded 36-pages! Dana’s sexy images were appearing in fitness magazines more often than Mr. Olympia, pro bodybuilders, and all the top fitness competitors combined! She had a monopoly in progress. In fact, it wasn’t uncommon to see Dana on the covers of 2 magazines during the same month. Soon it was clear that the brunette model had accomplished the highest honors the fitness industry could offer.

The next obvious step for Dana was to go mainstream with her career; a feat that most fitness models cannot successfully pull off. However, Dana had no obstacles in making the transition, and her look proved to have global appeal. She appeared in multi-page editorial features in magazines such as: FHM, The Girls of FHM, Maxim, Stuff, Femme Fatales, The Sun, Stun, Esquire, GQ, Razor, Loaded, Zoo and more! She even branched out with her own line of sexy calendars and wall posters sold in retail stores worldwide. Dana also strutted down the catwalk for companies like Bebe, Lucky Brand Jeans, and Playboy swimwear.
