J.R. "GET MONEY" - NEXT 2 BLOW OUT OF ATLANTA?

Wanna know who’s next in line to blow out of the ATL?? Well guess no more, it’s Moodswing Production’s J.R. "Get Money". Recently landing a deal with Universal/Motown this past June, the label power house is ready to debut this kid with this first song Shorty Lookin Mean. . J.R. "Get Money" is no wanna be, he's a GONNA BE!!

Born in New Orleans, J.R. "Get Money" moved to Atlanta, GA when he was 4 years old. He began rapping at the age of 12, listening to Tupac and Jay-Z trying to study their flows. J.R. recalls, "I wasn't the best writer, but I kept at it and my brother heard me spittin one day and took me to a studio. My first time in the booth I was 15, and I knew then I wanted to be a rapper". Jamming the sounds of TI and Young Jeezy in the "A", Get Money spits about what he sees and what goes on everyday in his hood. With that, you get an edgy, yet youthful approach to what JR calls "REAL TALK". He has banging tracks as well with courtesy of Moodswing Productions (Bow Wow, Jagged Edge, Bobby Valentino).

The industry is already talking about J.R. "Get Money", from artists to DJ's. Don't let the lack of BDS or video have you fooled. You are just getting in on the ground floor. It won't be long until you see and hear him everywhere.

Atlanta has long been the mecca of Southern music and he has no trouble keeping up with his musical peers. "Shorty Lookin Mean" will have you leanin' & rockin' wit it and J.R.'s swagger is undeniable! The way he rides the beat gives him an air well beyond his years. "Cook It In The Kitchen", another banger by J.R. is on various mixtapes including DJ Rhude’s (XXL) Out of Town Series and Crisco Kidd's Block Party Mixtapes. It won't be long before it's everywhere.

J.R. "Get Money" may be waiting for 'next up' now but he knows he will be running the game for a long time to come.
