Tony Hawk were gettin wicked on the ramp. Also B-Boy breakdancers were
bustin moves in the middle of the convention along with models from every
walk of life struttin their stuff. Not to mention there was great food
and drinks.
Booya Tribe and B-Real(Cypress Hill)
We checked out Booya Tribe perform live with B-Real
from Cypress Hill.
It was a dope performance. They played some crazy shit! from grunge band
stuff to some bangin hip hop gansta s**t along with Kurupt, Eastwood,
and Spider Loc (from Tha Row Records).
Too
Short After Party
Attended Too Short's bash over at Liberace's crib. It was a huge pad laced
with murals on the ceilings, waterfall fountains, elevators, and a stage
area built like a nightclub/lounge area. Definately a ballers palace.
Too Short performed some of his new album coming out.
Had some fine ladies up in that mug!
We
spoke with Andre from Outkast at his clothing line's after party.
The Outkast party was an eccentric laid back scene with great food, stocked
bar, beautiful ladies, and a dancefloor over at the Alladin Casino.
We got a chance to talk to Andre and see what he's been up to:

Suge
Knight and Tha Row Records family helped YRB magazine
celebrate the third anniversary of its West Coast issue at a special
"Da' West Episode" party at The Bluenote nightclub.
Suge Knight with his signature Cigar smoking and rap impresario Doug E.
Fresh hosted the event.
We were there to attend and we have to say we were quite impressed with
the performances and the party all together. Crooked I, Eastwood, Kurupt,
Roscoe, Y.A., Too Short, Gangsta Rid and Danny Boy blew the f**kin hinges
off the event. Crooked I brought nothin but heat to the stage with a few
songs from his new album: Say Hi to the Bad Guy which is slated for late
Sept. /early October release.
Kurupt the Kingpin also spit straight venom from his old DPG days to some
new stuff along with his little brother Roscoe and Y.A. They all did a
tribute song at the end to Tupac and all the fallen homies . There was
no static at all. We were quite impressed with the party. It was nothin
but fun... and the ladies fuggedabout it!!
