The Asia-based concert promotions company ONE Group Investments Private Ltd. is faced with a lawsuit from Mariah’s production company on the grounds that the company ONE Group wasted her time and money. According to the suit, Mariah demanded $1 million in reimbursement for expenses accumulated while she prepared for a Hong Kong performance that was later cancelled. “…We are confident that the company will prevail,” stated Carey’s attorney. May the best man win that case, you know Asian people don’t play with their money, then again neither do black folks!

While we’re on the subject of lawsuits, actor / comedian Bill Cosby discretely settled a molestation lawsuit with a woman who accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her in his Philadelphia home. The woman, named Andrea Constand, accused Cosby of slipping her three “blue pills” that knocked her out. He then sexually molested her according to her complaint. I also find it ironically coincidental that now three women are prepared to testify against this 69-year old man. One woman came out the wood-works with an accusation stemming from an incident, which “occurred” in 1985 after her agent introduced her to Cosby and she “passed out” in his New York brownstone. Come on now ladies, I’d love to see and hear proof of these so-called incidents of “molestation.”

Diddy is allowing the next man to co-control his music career?? Yes he is ladies and gentlemen; The self-acclaimed King Of New York has signed a new deal with Chris Lighty and Violator Management. The goal of this agreement is to “expand Diddy’s reach and influence exponentially in music.” This announcement comes after the squashing of a beef between Lighty’s “Get Rich Or Die Tryin” client, 50 Cent and Diddy himself. Call him the peacemaker if you will. Not a bad way to build up clientele, can’t we all just get along??

Speaking of getting along, it seems as if this feud between Jim Jones and Jay-Z is never going to end. After Jay-Z dropped a dis track over Jimmy’s “We fly High” beat, Jones says he plans to add yet another verse to Jay’s “Brooklyn High” track, labeling it the first Jay-Z and Jim Jones remix. In a recent interview, Jones goes on to speak on his song is number one on the BET playlist, along with the Hot 97’s playlist. He was quoted saying, “I’m glad that he knows I’m not in no one’s top five, I ain’t, I’m number one B&%$t! It ain’t no more room up here…” Okay Jimmy let’s not get ahead of ourselves. You had a hit single for the entire summer! Of course you’re going to have more spins….your song has been out since the first daylight’s savings time went into effect! Get a grip!

It is official ladies and gents! You may have spotted her as Usher’s leading lady in the video “Yeah” along with Chris Brown’s “Run It” video. It has been confirmed that Destiny Lightsy will be playing are fallen angel Aaliyah in an upcoming film about her life. Although the role was initially supposed to be for Meghan Goode, Destiny would be a better fit due to her exceptional dance skills; hopefully her acting skills are equivalent. I’m definitely looking forward to the release of that film.

Last but certainly not the least. Wutang’s infamous Ghostface Killah is back with a sequel to his Fishscale LP, which came out just 10 months ago. The album features the Theodore Unit, a group from the rapper’s hometown of Staten Island, NY. Also on the album is Ghostface’s 17-year old son, Sun God. The album, titled More Fish, is set to release on December 12 on Def Jam Records. Who does he think he is?? Beyonce?
