Another week has gone by which means a refreshed edition of the Inside Scoop
on what’s what in hip-hop. Let’s jump right in….shall we??

Comedian / Actor / sultry R&B singer, Jamie Foxx is being
sued by a fashion stylist for allegedly failing to compensate for her
duties. According to a lawsuit, which was filed on Wednesday in a Los
Angeles Superior Court, Stacy Young is demanding back pay for her styling
services dating back to 2006. She claims she was hired to work with
Foxx for the BET Awards at a $2,850 rate per day as well as for press
related meetings for the film, “Miami Vice”; her expected
salary was $3,000 a day. Although the lawsuit does not state her exact
amount owed, young claims she incurred, “thousands of dollars in
costs in connection with the services rendered,” adding that she,
“turned down other employment offers “ to work for Foxx.

In diva news, the incredible Foxy Brown was arrested in Pembroke Pines Beauty Supply Store last night after assaulting a store employee and resisting arrest. Tisk, tisk, tisk….According to officials, Foxy was holding up the store’s closing while using beauty products in the restroom. When an employee asked her to leave, she refused and hauled hair glue at the employee, spat on him and managed to strike and hawk spit at the victim all while he dialed 911. She immediately left the scene and proceeded to continue her shopping. The police officer that responded to the 911 call found Brown and asked that she return to the store as part of a criminal investigation, she refused. On a happier note, noted lyricist, Nas, has been signed to create a signature footwear line for 310 Global Brands. The line, which will be called, “Disciple Footwear Collection,” marks the artist’s breakthrough into the fashion world. 310 will market and distribute the collection in specialty shop in June of this year. P. Diddy’s Bad Boy record label has announced the upcoming release of a Notorious B.I.G Greatest Hits album. This 16-track compilation should be hitting the stores on March 6th! The album will feature hit tracks such as, “Juicy,” “One More Chance,” “Big Poppa,” “Hypnotize” and several other Biggie Smalls classics, including two unreleased tracks. “It’s time to celebrate the legacy of the Best that ever did it,” said Bad Boy EVP and GM, Harve Pierre.
