The world-renowned Beyonce Knowles may be in trouble!
According to a lawsuit, which was filed Tuesday, April 17th, Miss B
never obtained proper clearance to cover a song titled, Im
Kissing You, a track that was originally co-written by former
pop star Desree; you may remember her from the infamous You
Gotta Be hit. In the lawsuit, Desree and her reps claim
that Beyonce, along with her record company people, originally tried
to work out a deal to use the song. Apparently, Beyonce and her reps
were totally unsatisfied with the proposed terms of the agreement and
she recorded the song and video under her own terms. The song was eventually
released on theBDay-Deluxe

Edition
album on April 3, 2007. Desree is suing to halt distribution of the song,
video and album and is seeking at least $150K in damages. Is it me or is Beyonces
writing credibility suffering? First Ne-Yos Irreplacable, then the Dreamgirls
Listen track, now this?? Tisk, tisk, tisk.

While
were on the subject of lawsuits, the Wallace family is again,
filing a suit against the city of Los Angeles for the wrongful death
of Christopher Wallace, popularly known as the Notorious B.I.G. According
to the lawsuit, which was filed on Monday, April 16, the family claims
that Wallace was killed in a efficient, organized and professional
manner, suggesting that a high degree of coordination and planning preceded
his murder, in other words; the police were involved in the crime.
Specifically, the suit names former officer, Rafael Perez and his ex-partner,
Nino Durden who both have previously admitted to the LAPD officials
that they conspired to murder and participated

in the murder
of the rapper.
Still no charges have been filed against Perez Durden in connection with B.I.GS
killing.

The
home of Tony Yayos mother was riddled with bullets this past
Wednesday night, April 18. According to allhiphop.com, the house was shot
up Wednesday night around mid-night. The incident could stem from the
incident where Yayo was accused of assaulting Jimmy Henchmens
14-year old son. He was charged on one count of misdemeanor assault and
one count of endangering the welfare of a minor. Details are still being

Camron
refuses to cooperate with the police. In an interview with Anderson
Cooper of 60 minutes, Cam tells Anderson that helping the authorities
would not only hurt sales of his music, but also violate his code
of ethics. The interview is part of Andersons report on
the concept of snitching and how certain artists message
to shun the police has undermined efforts to solve murders across the
country. Coopers interview with Camron is slated to air
on 60 Minutes from 7-8pm EST on Sunday, April 22 on CBS.
