Ya girl is back with another edition of the Inside Scoop on What’s What
in Hip-Hop. Let’s skip the intro and dig right in…shall we?

Adult
film company, Kick Ass Pictures, prepares to release an adult film
titled non other than “Nappy Headed Ho’s”! In an attempt
to poke fun at Don Imus’ statement, the porn company states that
they are releasing the DVD to back the idea that although Imus’
comments were racist, the First Amendment should protect them. “As
an adult media company, we’re especially defensive of free speech…,”
said Kick Ass President Mark Kulkis. He even go as far as to say that
$1 from each sale of their “Nappy Headed Ho’s” adult
film will go into a retirement fund for Imus. “If Imus doesn’t
prevail, then there’s a good chance he’ll need some help with
his retirement fund,” said Kulkis. Kim Hicks Gibson, a successful
African American adult film producer , firmly believes that Kick Ass
Pictures is doing

Bow Wow and Omarion are currently working on a collaborative album due out by the end of this year. “We’re in the creative process right now,” according to Bow Wow. “Still trying to come up with a title and everything.” The two, who have become best friends over the years, are thrilled about their new project. “Any time you get a chance to work with somebody you’re best friends with, it’s not even gonna be like work,” said Bow Wow. “It’s gonna be like working with family.” Bow Wow is currently on tour promoting his new album, The Price of Fame. Sounds like another Best of Both Worlds to me! |

Akon
released a statement in regards to his wicked behavior during his
performance in Port of Spain on April 12th. The statement read: “First
and most important to me, I want to sincerely apologize for the embarrassment
and any pain I’ve caused to the young woman who joined me on-stage,
her family and the Trinidad community for the events at my concert in
Port of Spain on April 12th. It was never my intention to embarrass
or take advantage of my fans in any way, especially those under the
age of 18. That is why we tried to make sure that they club did not
admit anyone under 18 in the audience. Somehow, that standard was not
met. Again I apologize to those concerned and to all my fans and I

It
has been confirmed ladies and gentlemen! Nick Cannon and Selita
Banks are not engaged! Selita posted a message to clear up the rumor
on her myspace page. The message read: “I have to clear up something
… Selita engaged? No way! I must tell you, everyone thinks Nick
and I are engaged but yet we are really not…I had to talk to him
after the proposal because I felt he didn’t really do it for the
right reasons…it was like a publicity stunt and all…I didn’t
too much care for it at all…all I did was hug him and whispered
in his ear, “We truly need to talk for sure!” Which we did
and this is why I’m not engaged right now! Thanks to you all for
the blessings but I’m sorry the media had lead you astray! Don’t
believe the hype of the media.

Purple One" makes an announcement: Prince Announces 21 Concert Tour. Prince made the announcement in London on Tuesday that his 21 night London tour will begin August 1st with tickets starting just above $60 which includes a copy of Prince's newest album with purchase. "Last time I was here, a lot of people didn't get to see me, so we are trying to make it affordable for everybody," said Prince, who spoke to the media in a darkened room lined with purple drapes. "That's why we are doing such an extended stay." |
