Super model, Naomi Campbell may be strutting her stuff behind bars as a result of a missed court date on September 27. Judge James Gibbons issued the warrant and agreed to hold it until Naomi’s next court date, which is set for November 15. Campbell, who is in desperate need of anger management, is charged with smashing a bejeweled mobile phone on her maid’s head last March. She recently held another public showcase of her anger when she verbally lashed out at a Qantas Airways employee after a flight from Thailand to Australia. Though Campbell has shockingly pleaded “not guilty” in this case, she did plead “guilty” in a Canadian Court in 2000 after grabbing yet another assistant by the throat and striking her on the head with a telephone. I’m trying to understand why she’s pleading not guilty in this case. This woman is clearly suffering from, “I’m an aging DIVA”

Another victim in today’s news, an unidentified 29-year old woman was struck in the head with a metal chair during DMX’s concert at New York’s Nassau Coliseum on Saturday, September 30. The attack came as a result of an onstage altercation that involved several members of the audience and members of DMX’s entourage. According to the New York Newsday, the rapper became enraged when his sound was cut midway through his performance. He “ran back, jumped off the stage and started a fight with the sound person. Headliners of this show included, 50 Cent, Yung Joc, Jim Jones, Foxy Brown and Lloyd Banks to name a few.

Speaking of injury our prayers go out to rapper Cassidy who is in critical condition after a terrifying accident this past Wednesday in New Jersey. The rapper was hit on the passenger side of an SUV after a U-Haul truck swerved into oncoming traffic and struck the SUV on the passenger side. Cassidy was rushed to the hospital suffering from a fractured skull along with other broken bones on his face. He is said to be breathing on his own and is undergoing a CAT scan. As for the remaining passengers, they were not injured. Our prayers go out to the young Cassidy, we hope he makes it out of this okay.

On a lighter note, rapper Fabolous posted and unofficial ad on his myspace page asking aspiring producers to send in tracks to be considered for placement on his next album. Due to the overload of responses to his post, Fab has stated that if they do not make the album, some will definitely be featured on the mix-tape. The album, which carries no title thus far, was slated for a February 2007 release. Look for productions from Just Blaze, Jazze Pha and Kanye West. It’s about time FA-BA-LO-US came back!

In other news, the dynamic hip-hop couple, Nas and Kelis are following the foot steps of the Brittany and Kev Federline’s, the Nick and Jessica’s and preparing to produce a reality TV show focused on their “normal” life. Neither has stated anything concrete about the show however rumor has it that it will be an “edgier” version of Jesssica and Nick’s Newlyweds series. But I thought that was the point of Brittany and Kevin’s Chaotic. Nothing gets more “edgier” that that!

Boy oh boy, Beyonce’s in the news again!!! How did the statement go again? If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say anything at all?? Well, that statement applies to Beyonce and her mom after a press event in Chicago for the mother / daughter fashion line House of Dereon. At the Thursday press junket, WBBM-TV consumer reporter, Dorothy Tucker shot a few rounds at Beyonce and her mother in regards to the quality of their merchandise. She commented that many of the retailers in the Chicago area complained about the poor fit the clothing, that the tops were not correctly sized and that most the production had to be returned as a result of poor manufacturing. After several attempts to ignore this persistent reporter, Tina Knowles demanded that the tape stop running stating that
